This service is initiated by a thorough review of established metrics for; product quality, crude feedstock conversion-utilization, utilities consumption, product cost reviews (fixed and variable), finished-product losses and distribution costs of the complete supply process. This service identifies “punch-list opportunities” which allows the client to select & upgrade the product supply process for improved yield optimization. Process Safety Management: MII will assist the client with the implementation of the overall management system and/or subsystems covered under Federal OSHA-Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals Standard, 29 CFR 1910.119. In addition, MII expertise includes: Process Safety Information (PSI) documentation assistance, facilitating Process Hazard Analysis via Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) methodology, creating Standard Operating Procedures, conducting Pre-Startup Safety Audits, assisting with Management of Change reviews and leading PSM compliance audits. MII will also assist the client with managing the resolution of complex action items produced by, PSM Compliance Audits and by HAZOP studies. PSI support includes the auditing of chemical processes to produce P&ID “as-builds” and to audit the testing documentation of primary and secondary safety systems. home
